Join us as a Site Reliability Engineer where you will be responsible for managing the provision of stable, resilient, and reliable applications to minimize disruption to Customer & Colleague Journeys (CCJ). Your primary tasks will include identifying and automating manual tasks, implementing observability solutions, and ensuring a comprehensive understanding of CCJ across applications. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment with avenues for personal and career development. The position is at the associate vice president level. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will collaborate with feature teams to comprehend application changes, engage in delivery activities, and address production issues to facilitate change delivery without adversely impacting the customer experience. Your responsibilities will encompass site reliability operations such as production support, incident response, on-call rotation, toil reduction, and application performance improvements. Additionally, you will play a proactive role in enhancing release quality in production and maintaining highly available, performing, and secure production systems. Your tasks will also involve delivering automation solutions to reduce manual tasks associated with application maintenance, ensuring a profound understanding of the complete tech stack supporting the application, identifying alerting and monitoring requirements, evaluating tech stack resilience, and minimizing hand-offs in resolving customer-impacting incidents. To excel in this position, you should have experience in supporting live production services, understanding ITIL processes, IT Security principles, and compliance breach prevention tools and techniques. Proficiency in Azure Cloud, full-stack observability using tools like Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Grafana, along with a minimum of 8 years of coding experience in .NET and JavaScript applications is essential. Experience in deployment and release services, automation, troubleshooting, industry-standard engineering tooling, configuration of observability tools, and supporting new applications and major releases is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills are also necessary for this role.,
