Role Overview: As a software engineer in the SRE Alerting team at Goldman Sachs, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Fabric, the firm's event processing and alerting system. You will collaborate with customers, product owners, and SREs to design and implement a large-scale distributed system for alert generation and routing. Your role will involve working on a production environment that spans cloud and on-prem datacentres, defining observability features, and driving their implementation.
