15 years full time educationSummary: As a Mechanical Engineering Practitioner, you will design, analyze, and build structures, machines, devices, systems, and mechanical processes. A strategic aerospace engineering leader specializing in rotary wing platforms, with a strong track record in driving technical delivery, innovation, and client satisfaction. Experienced in shaping engineering processes, delivery governance, and team capability development. Proven ability to influence design and compliance strategies through direct engagement with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and regulatory bodies. Passionate about digital transformation, with a focus on advancing MBSE, MBD, and digital continuity across the product lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Join a mid-level leadership role within the Aerostructure Engineering team, supporting both strategy and technical execution across the full engineering lifecyclefrom concept through production, certification, and sustainment.
  • Play a pivotal role in leading engineering delivery, technical governance, and client interactions for high-impact aerospace programs spanning rotary- and fixed-wing platforms.
  • Opportunity to drive digital engineering initiatives including MBD, MBSE, and digital twin integration within legacy and next-gen design environments.
  • Own design and development tasks for aircraft structural components.
  • Apply advanced aircraft structural analyses Approach to Validate the design concepts through Classical and FE Analysis, and assist in detailed load path analysis, optimal material selection and operational / design / environmental conditions compliant to the airworthiness regulations, structural integrity requirements, and OEM-specific design standards.
  • Preparation of method register, Method document, check lists, report templates, SLA in alignment with client.
  • Guide the team for selection of optimum design by stress evaluation of multiple structural design concepts through detailed trade-off analyses for required dimensions and weight constraints.
  • Maintaining scope / requirement log, Input / enabler and query trackers and coordinating with respective client stakeholders to get the resolutions on-time, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Lead the team to develop complex 2D and 3D FE models, their integration, properties allocation, create validation and verification reports for the FE models, Analysis deck preparation/editing, perform structural Analyses, result extraction and interpretations, Error removal, post process and assist in developing automation using inhouse macros.
  • Finalize the meshing and analyses requirements for different types of structural analyses in alignment with client.
  • Mitigation in case of low RF/MOS, Alternative concepts analyses, compilation of inputs for the review and certification reports.
  • Analyse complex design challenges and propose optimal engineering solutions.
  • Level II and Level III checker and signatory for the analysis and certification reports from Accenture side.
  • Certification test support creation of FE models incorporating the failure, features and boundary conditions as per standard procedure and test fixture.
  • Ensuring alignment with weight budgets and performance criteria.
  • Collaborate and lead cross-functionally with design team, manufacturing, quality, and systems teams; actively engage in design reviews, issue resolution, and integration discussions. Act as the primary technical interface with the client, ensuring alignment on design objectives and deliverables.
  • Support and mentor junior team members by providing technical guidance, sharing best practices, and fostering their growth in design methodologies, tools, and domain knowledge. Actively contributes to skill development, knowledge transfer, and team capability building through hands-on support and constructive feedback. Professional & Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in the design, development and integration of metallic, and composite helicopter / aircraft structures for both primary and secondary components from static / Dynamic/ Impact point of view.
  • Experience of static dynamic and impact analysis for sizing of large, fixed wing or rotary wing aircraft.
  • Experience in weight optimization techniques, load path optimization for helicopter/aircraft certification and testing activities.
  • Working knowledge of airworthiness compliance regulations (e.g., CS-27/29, FAR 23/25), OEM design standards, and FAA/EASA certification processes.
  • Experience in preparation of full scale and component level certification test plan, test orders, test load derivation and test to analysis correlation reports for component level for fixed wing or rotary wing aircrafts.
  • Familiarity with GD&T and industry drawing standards,
  • Proficiency over the structural static dynamic and impact analysis tools like general MSC NASTRAN/PATRAN/ABAQUS/ HyperMesh/ Optistruct /LS DYANA is must,
  • Can guide the team for automation using Excel MACROS & VBA / Python and Catia V5 is a plus.
  • FEA considerations and meshing requirements for different types of structural analyses like static, dynamic, buckling and impact analysis.
  • End to end concept to design validation, certification, manufacturing support and certification test & test correlation activities specifically for rotary wing aircraft / helicopter.
  • Command over the 2D/3D mesh creation and meshing guidelines, FE Modelling, and Assembly integration methodologies.
  • Strong grasp of aerospace material selection, structural feature simulation, analyses and meshing guidelines and procedures.
  • Capability to solve day to day analysis problem in Analysis and post processing of Analysis results.
  • In-depth understanding of helicopter/aircraft load-bearing structures, with focus on structural integrity, stiffness, and load path optimization under both static, dynamic, and impact conditions. Familiarity with Fatigue requirement is plus.
  • Deep knowledge of rotary wing or fixed wing structural arrangement, primary, secondary and support structures, load path, sizing procedures for metallic and composite structures.
  • Strong awareness of static dynamic and impact strength justification analyses and failure modes relevant to metallic and composite airframe components.
  • Analysis considerations for the any of the Innovative design and functional considerations like telescopic structures, foldability swivel and reversal of structure.
  • Expertise for structural sizing of aerospace and rotary wing aircraft structural parts meeting certification, testing and manufacturability requirements.
  • Familiar with structural analysis considerations related to assembly line constraints, ergonomic considerations, and sequence planning to ensure seamless integration in high-rate production environments. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a 12 to 15 years of experience in the Aerostructure Analysis domain preferably for the rotary wing aircrafts, in a technical managerial & program manager role for OEM/service providers. - This position is based at client location Bengaluru and 6 days a workweek requiring 8 working hours per day. - A B Tech/M Tech in Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Mechanical Engineering is required
