Job Description

The Engineering Services Practitioner plays a crucial role in providing end-to-end engineering services to develop technical engineering solutions that address problems and achieve business objectives. Utilizing scientific, socio-economic, technical knowledge, and practical experience, you will be responsible for solving engineering challenges and meeting business goals. Your scope of work will encompass structural and stress design, qualification, configuration, and technical management. The ideal candidate for this role must possess expertise in 5G Wireless Networks & Technologies. Additionally, familiarity with AWS Core Infrastructure, Red Hat Cloud Architecture, and Design would be advantageous. A minimum of 7.5 years of relevant experience is required for this position, along with a 15 years full-time education background. As a 5G Core Network Specialist Team Lead / Associate Manager (Nokia/Ericsson), based in Delhi-NCR or Bangalore, you will be leading a team of engineers in designing, deploying, and optimizing Nokia or Ericsson 5G Core Network solutions. Your role will involve providing technical leadership and strategic direction, project management, team management, and ensuring operational efficiency within the Core Network Engineering / Mobile Network Operations department. Your responsibilities will include leading the end-to-end design, integration, and optimization of 5G Core Network components, defining best practices for deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management, as well as managing a team of core network engineers. Additionally, you will be involved in supervising operations, driving optimization efforts, promoting innovation and automation, and ensuring adherence to technical standards and protocols. The ideal candidate should have 10-15 years of experience in mobile core networks with a minimum of 3 years in 5G Core (SA/NSA). Strong leadership skills, hands-on expertise with Nokia or Ericsson 5G Core Network components, and a solid understanding of 3GPP standards are essential for this role. Proficiency in protocols such as SCTP, HTTP/2, PFCP, GTP, Diameter, TCP/IP, and TLS is required. Knowledge of NFV/SDN, cloud-native platforms, and containerized network functions is also beneficial. Preferred skills and certifications include Nokia NSP/5G Certification or Ericsson Certified Expert 5G Core, Project Management or Agile/Scrum certifications, familiarity with CI/CD tools, automation frameworks, and monitoring tools, as well as knowledge of IMS, VoNR, VoLTE, and legacy network interworking. A Bachelors or Masters degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field is required for this position. A collaborative and team-oriented approach is essential for success in this role.,
