Engineering Manager/Head

You will be responsible for managing teams with a focus on policy and strategy implementation rather than development. Your role will involve short-term operational and tactical responsibilities. You will be tasked with designing, developing, implementing, and updating electronic data systems in alignment with the organization's requirements. As a high-level technical expert, you will work under general direction to participate in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or significant enhancements to existing software. You will collaborate with technical staff to identify software issues and develop specifications to address them. Your duties will include evaluating, scheduling, and resourcing development projects, investigating user needs, writing, testing, and maintaining computer programs, as well as preparing systems documentation. In this role, you will be expected to resolve customer complaints, consider suggestions for improvements and enhancements, and contribute to the development of software user manuals.
