Key Responsibilities: - Mentoring, managing, and leading a team of SREs with diverse expertise. - Being an advocate for security best practices and leading initiatives to enhance security posture. - Responding to production incidents and driving remediation. - Troubleshooting complex production issues to ensure reliability and performance. - Collaborating with stakeholders to align new capabilities with reliability, security, and delivery velocity. - Partnering with recruiting to hire and retain top talent. - Monitoring metrics and ensuring projects drive them in the right direction. - Supporting a 24x7 online environment as part of an on-call rotation. Ideal Candidate Profile: - Willingness to go the extra mile and solve problems. - Passion for developing engineering peers and leading by example. - Experience managing teams running large-scale production services in cloud environments. - Deep knowledge of CI/CD principles, Linux fundamentals, networking concepts, and IP protocols. Minimum Requirements: - 2+ years of experience managing SRE or SWE teams in a cloud-native environment. - Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. - Solid security background and knowledge. - BS in computer science or equivalent experience.
