The regulatory landscape in India makes it particularly complex for Amazon to bring its world-class experience to its Indian customers. Hence, to ensure that, in addition to standard third-party sellers (S3P) like in other countries, Amazon India makes its retail tools available to a special class of sellers called P3P (Premium Third Party) through a third-party integrator. This program today contributes to half of entire India marketplace business. One key responsibility for this role holder is to evolve the platform architecture to bring system integrator s financial applications function within Amazon Firewall for providing reliable and delightful financial tools to Sellers in a compliant way. Apart from enabling WW retail tool access, this program supports external third-party sellers to manage their vendor payment workflows, accounting and business reporting. The role holder needs to influence end to end architecture across all internal and external systems to ensure scale of operations with zero incorrect settlements while making right trade-off between need for transactional systems and reality of eventual consistent systems. To enable this, the role requires cross-functional skills not limited to technology. Role Overview As an Engineering Manager I , you will lead a team responsible for building and scaling high-performance systems across trading, data, and platform domains. This role blends technical depth with people leadership — you’ll guide architecture decisions, ensure strong execution, and support your team’s growth and impact. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across engineering, quant, and product functions to translate business needs into resilient, scalable systems. What You’ll Do Own architectural and technical direction for systems across trading, data, and platform teams Lead a multi-disciplinary team working with technologies like Rust, C++, Python, Node.js, and React Review and guide the design and implementation of trading engines, data pipelines, and distributed services Drive a high-performance engineering culture with a focus on clarity, accountability, and code quality Partner with quant and trading leads to build systems that are fast, reliable, and scalable Oversee aspects of infrastructure and operations, including deployments, observability, and system reliability Mentor and grow engineers, balancing speed, technical excellence, and long-term maintainability Who Are You Must Have 10+ years of experience building complex systems, ideally in a trading, HFT, or infrastructure-heavy environment. Strong engineering fundamentals and technical judgment — comfortable reading and reviewing production-grade Rust, C++, and Python. Prior leadership experience managing cross-functional engineering teams with full delivery ownership. Bias for action, product-minded thinking, and zero tolerance for technical debt without purpose. In this vital role, the Manager Medical Data & Analytics - Platform will directly lead the technical team that develops and implements technology strategies, solutions, and services to support Amgen s Global Medical business function. As the Technology Leader, you will be the primary accountable to lead integration of several capabilities and the point of contact for the business & technology product owner and other stakeholders.
