Engineering Manager - Frontend Applications

As an experienced Engineering Manager at our company, you will have the opportunity to lead and build a team of frontend developers dedicated to creating cutting-edge web and mobile applications for the derivatives market. You will also play a key role in defining the technical vision and roadmap for our trading platform, supervising the development and deployment of new features, and ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Collaboration and communication are essential aspects of this role, as you will work closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. You will also communicate effectively with senior management on project status and risks. Your development responsibilities will involve designing and developing UI workflows, backend system integrations, and ensuring code quality through adherence to standards and participation in code reviews. This hands-on role requires a significant time commitment to software development. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 8 years of experience in software engineering and 3 years in managing engineering teams. Knowledge of equity and derivatives trading workflows, proficiency in technologies such as JavaScript, React, Python, cloud computing (AWS), and database technologies, as well as experience in building high-performance systems are crucial.
