Job Description

Role Overview: You will be part of a dynamic team as an Engineering Manager, focusing on building the Container Security Product within the Total Cloud Product Line. This role involves contributing to the development of a SaaS-based Security Risk Prioritization product that aids customers in measuring, communicating, and eliminating cyber risks. Your responsibilities will include prototyping, designing, developing, and supporting this scalable and distributed product, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop the Security Product in the cloud, ensuring high quality and adherence to good architecture and design principles. - Lead the framework development for data ingestion, normalization, enrichment, and risk evaluation pipeline. - Utilize big data technologies such as KAFKA, Spark, Hadoop, Elastic, and Micro Services in the development process. - Manage and collaborate with teams and engineers to meet project requirements and resolve cross-functional dependencies. - Research and implement code design best practices, adopt new technologies, and enhance skills. - Create high-performance Restful APIs for external partner consumption. - Build highly scalable services that interact with the Qualys Platform effectively. Qualifications: - Bachelor's/Master's/Doctorate in Computer Science or equivalent field. - Over 15 years of JAVA development experience with Microservices architecture. - More than 5 years of experience with Hadoop and Spark. - Minimum 5 years of experience in Kafka and 3 years in Microservices. - Previous exposure to creating scalable data ingestion pipelines. - At least 4 years of experience in people management. - Expertise in Streaming processing and data modeling. - Strong logical skills for code design and implementation. - Proficiency in writing high-performance, reliable, and maintainable code. - Experience in designing, developing, and delivering scalable solutions. - Good knowledge of SQL, advanced data structures, design patterns, and object-oriented principles. - Familiarity with API, SDKs, and third-party integrations. - Well-versed in Java 7/8, Scala, and solid understanding of RDBMS, preferably Oracle.,
