Engineering Lead/Manager

As an Engineering Lead/Manager for Android at our Chennai location, you will have the opportunity to lead the design and development of impactful Android applications that revolutionize the insurance experience for millions of users. Your role will involve driving technical excellence, mentoring teams, and overseeing the delivery of high-performing apps from conception to launch on the Play Store. With over 15 years of experience in software engineering, you will leverage your in-depth knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, and Java to architect, develop, and deploy large-scale Android applications successfully. Your expertise in design patterns such as MVC and MVVM, REST API integration, and UI/UX best practices will be crucial in ensuring the quality and user experience of the apps. In this role, you will be expected to lead Android development efforts across multiple products, collaborating closely with designers, testers, and product teams to deliver top-notch mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include code reviews, guiding engineers, and ensuring compliance with platform standards. Additionally, you will focus on optimizing apps, enhancing testing coverage, and streamlining build pipelines to drive efficiency and performance.
