Role: Perform vessel calculations to meet ASME Section VIII Division 1 or Division 2, TEMA, PED, CRN, API codes as applicable to the individual project. Complete 2D/3D detailed Drawings and Bill of Materials for customer approvals and shop fabrication. Interface with customers, project managers, quality control, and production to ensure smooth workflow of each project. Work cohesively with a small group of skilled Engineers to maintain a high level of quality design and execution. Qualifications & Experience: 3+ years experience in design/calculation/drafting of pressure-containing equipment is required. 3+ years experience with ASME Section VIII Division 1 pressure vessel design code is required. Experience with TEMA, API 650/620, PED, & CRN preferred. Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field is required. Professional Engineering License is a bonus. Software Skills: Experience in AutoCAD and Inventor or similar 3D software and MS Office is required. Experience in Compress, PVELITE vessel calculation software is preferred. Experience in the use of FEA software is beneficial.
