Engineer Technical Support (Broadcast)

The Engineer Technical Support (Broadcast) position is responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting front-end client systems in complex Broadcast IT setups. You will work independently on client systems with guidance from superiors, quickly analyzing reported issues and taking prompt action for resolution or escalating to superiors. Additionally, you will receive support calls from customers, capture complete information about the issue, and work towards resolving it or escalating to senior members. It is essential to commit to delivering technical support within time-sensitive environments for live TV broadcast sites and time-critical applications. You must be able to quickly troubleshoot and diagnose issues over the phone, remotely, on-site, or via email for the systems presented to you. Clear communication with customers and senior team members is crucial, along with regular updates on the complete details and developments of each case. Furthermore, you will be responsible for periodically updating system and software details installed at customer sites in the region. Additionally, filing and submitting periodical tech call sheets, case status, and expenses to the reporting officer will be part of your duties. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge about Networking, IT Servers, Storages, and Troubleshooting. Prior experience in the broadcast industry is considered an added advantage, and a minimum of 1 to 3 years of work experience is required for this role.,
