Engineer

As a Palo Alto Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs) including PA-series and VM-Series. Your duties will involve managing security policies, NAT, VPNs (GlobalProtect/IPSec/SSL), and threat prevention profiles. You will also be tasked with implementing and optimizing App-ID, User-ID, URL filtering, WildFire, and Decryption policies. Additionally, you will integrate with Panorama for centralized management and policy control, perform firmware upgrades, HA configuration, and log analysis. Collaboration with SOC/NOC teams for incident response and compliance will also be a part of your role. To excel in this position, you should possess strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama. A solid understanding of network protocols, security zones, routing, and segmentation is essential. Familiarity with cloud integration (Azure/AWS) and security automation would be advantageous. Holding Palo Alto certifications like PCNSA / PCNSE would be preferred. Furthermore, excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills are required to succeed in this role.
