As a skilled Engineer with extensive experience in the GStreamer multimedia framework at Qualcomm India Private Limited, your role will involve designing, developing, and optimizing multimedia applications and systems. Your deep understanding of multimedia processing, pipeline architecture, and ability to work on complex projects will be crucial for success in this position. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize your 7+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc., with a majority of experience in multimedia framework & GStreamer plugins development. - Demonstrate strong programming skills in C and C++ for embedded systems. - Apply your knowledge about AI/ML applications development. - Showcase your exposure to developing solutions on Linux. - Utilize your expertise in multi-threaded programming, synchronization, and IPCs. - Demonstrate strong software design skills and the ability to guide a team of engineers. - Apply your knowledge of software development processes. - Utilize your communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Showcase your exposure to other media frameworks such as ffmpeg, directshow, stagefright as a plus. - Apply your knowledge of V4L2, Pulseaudio, Alsa, OpenGLES as a plus. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR - Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
