• To carry out daily inward material inspection and testing as per GRN within defined timeline.
• To determine critical part features and validate as per standards mentioned on the drawing.
• Define acceptance criteria for bought out parts & communicate with supplier.
• Lead supplier PPM or defect rate improvement plan for supplier and reduce the monthly rejection rate.
• Facilitate and promote use of appropriate problem-solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action.
• Participate in the Advanced Product Quality Planning activities to determine appropriate use of existing and new measurement systems during new part/supplier development.
• Perform duties in accordance with quality system requirements as the voice of customers.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Toolroom to resolve customer complaint & supplier issues and other concerns.
• Coordinate with procurement and supplier team for supplier development to minimise the rework/rejection.
• Coordinate with internal teams-production, planning, logistics to smoothen the production operation keeping Safety & Quality on priority.
