Job Description

As a candidate for the position, you will be responsible for various key tasks and responsibilities in the concerned line and shift. Your role will involve: - Machining pistons according to drawing, specifications, and control plans. - Identifying and ensuring traceability of products in your assigned line and shift. - Reviewing and dispositioning non-conforming products. - Delivering line scrap and implementing corrective actions for non-conformance. - Providing quality-related training to personnel in your line and shift. - Driving continuous improvement in tooling management systems. - Ensuring products are manufactured as per control plans and with proper identification and test status. - Taking necessary actions to prevent defects and maintain a good working environment. - Implementing systems for tooling management, FMEA, SPC chart filling, and records maintenance. - Upholding cleanliness standards in the premises. Additionally, you are expected to possess the following skills: Technical: - Understanding product drawings and features. - Operating measuring instruments proficiently. - Having knowledge of CNC machines and selection of cutting tools. People: - Demonstrating good interpersonal skills. - Maintaining effective communication with workmen. - Ability to train new workmen deployed for machine operating. Moreover, you will be involved in implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), KAIZEN, and 5S activities on the shop floor to enhance operational efficiency and quality standards.,
