Engineer Product Design

As an Engineer joining the Product Design team at the company, you will contribute to both New Product Design and Sustenance projects. Your role will involve generating ideas, developing concepts, and designing new products and improvements to existing products. You will also be responsible for performing hand calculations, GD&T stack-up analysis, providing CAD support using software like SolidWorks/Solid Edge, leading cost-saving and quality improvement initiatives, implementing DFMA practices, executing Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Notes (ECNs), contributing to the development and testing of prototypes, managing costed Bill of Materials (BOM), and utilizing PLM tools such as Teamcenter. Effectively prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders are key aspects of this role. - Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering Graduate degree with a good academic record and 3 to 6 years of post-graduation work experience are required qualifications. - Strong CAD knowledge, preferably in SolidWorks, and familiarity with Casting, Plastic, or forging part design considerations will be beneficial. - Knowledge of ASME 14.5, effective communication skills, experience in Appliance product design, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt are also desirable qualifications. - A BE/ME in Mechanical Engineering is a preferred qualification that will set you apart.
