As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems. This will involve working on a wide range of components such as circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems to develop cutting-edge, world-class products. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure that solutions meet performance requirements. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field. Additionally, a Master's degree in the same disciplines is preferred. Experience in circuit design, schematic capture, circuit simulation software, and hardware design and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers is highly valued. As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will apply your hardware knowledge to assist in the planning, optimization, verification, and testing of electronic systems. Your role will involve supporting the integration of features and functionality into hardware designs, conducting simulations and analyses, and collaborating with team members to implement new requirements and test solutions. You will also participate in the evaluation, characterization, and development of manufacturing solutions for leading-edge products. This position requires working under supervision and making decisions that impact your direct area of work. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential to convey information accurately. Tasks may involve multiple steps that require planning, problem-solving, and prioritization to ensure effective completion. You will also be responsible for writing technical documentation for hardware projects.
