• Collect the design advice from marketing and a) Ensure the hard \ soft copy of part drawing, b) Ensure the no of cavity details, c). Component material detail, d).Design estimated hours
• Collect the macro plan from planning• Designer should arrange the project file with all design formats, like a).Design input verification sheet, b).Design review sheet.c).Design monitoring chart• Designer should analyze the draft & ensure the parting line in part model and part drawing study for component surface finish detail, cavity ID, type of gate & location details• Start the concept design & complete the concept in target date.• After completing the concept, review to be conducted with Assembly & moulding departments.• 3D model & part drawing check list will be prepared & ensured the same.• Purchase requestion for Insert material, drawings for mould base quote, standard items to be sent to purchase.• Complete mould design drawings to be released to planning & soft copy to be saved in Final design folder.• Design monitoring chart & log entry to be filled every day
