The Executive/Junior Engineer Broadcast Playout plays a crucial role in the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of broadcast playout systems at Tata Communications. A basic understanding of broadcast playout systems, video/audio signal flow, and IT networking is preferred. Familiarity with broadcast automation software and media servers would be advantageous. You must exhibit a strong problem-solving mindset, eagerness to learn, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Effective communication and documentation skills are essential, along with the flexibility to work in shifts. Hands-on experience or internships in broadcast or media environments, knowledge of IP broadcast workflows, and video compression standards are desirable. Basic scripting or IT skills, including Linux, Windows, and networking, would be beneficial to support testing and implementation of system upgrades or new equipment.
