Engineer (Mechanical)

Main Purpose:

To take care of all machines in the rice mill and make sure they work properly without breakdowns.

Main Duties: • Check all machines daily and make sure they are running smoothly.

• Do regular maintenance like oiling, cleaning, tightening belts, etc.

• Repair machines quickly if they stop working.

• Keep record of all maintenance and repair work.

• Make a plan to prevent machine breakdowns.

• Keep spare parts ready and order new ones on time.

• Help in setting up new machines and equipment.

• Work together with the electrical and production team.

• Guide and supervise the helpers or mechanical staff.

• Follow all safety rules inside the mill.

Skills Needed: • Must know how rice mill machines work (like polishers, elevators, graders, shellers, conveyors).

• Able to find and fix mechanical problems quickly.

• Should understand belts, bearings, motors, gearboxes, and air compressors.

• Should be good at planning maintenance and keeping records.

• Teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Qualification & Experience: •

• Diploma or ITI or B.Tech in Mechanical field.
• • 2–5 years of work experience in a rice mill or food industry (preferred).
• Performance Goals (KRA / KPI): •
• Machines should run smoothly with very less breakdowns.
• • Maintenance work to be done on time.
• • Maintain safety and cleanliness in the mechanical area.
• • Reduce machine downtime and repair costs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹21,818.50 - ₹30,000.00 per month
