Engineer- Manufacturing II

**Role Overview:** As an Engineer, Manufacturing II (Integration) at our company, your primary responsibility will be to identify and implement opportunities for efficient process engineering using data, modeling, and applying Industry 4.0/ Advanced analytics concepts to improve Yield, Wattage, and process control in the Semiconductor Manufacturing setting. **Key Responsibilities:** - Strong track record of effective problem-solving and root-cause analysis working with cross-functional technical teams - Understanding of manufacturing engineering systems (FMEA, SPC) and structured problem-solving methods (such as DMAIC) - Proficiency in Statistical Data Analysis, DOE, and experience using statistical software (Minitab, JMP, SAS, Matlab, etc.) - Experience with standard data science and machine learning packages - Good understanding of the machine learning model stack (regression, classification, neural networks, time series) and packages (Scikit learn, Xgboost, Keras, Pytorch, Tensorflow, statsmodels) - Background education in physics, materials science preferred - Experience in Semiconductor Device Physics is a plus - Ability to work with minimal supervision - Experience in high volume ramp and/or new tech transfer - Lean Manufacturing knowledge **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree in engineering, physics, or chemistry with 5+ years of experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing setting - Master's Degree with at least three years of experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing settings, or PhD in an engineering or similar technical discipline with at least 1 year of experience required **Additional Details:** This role will require you to ensure adherence to all safety/environmental procedures, lead discussions with cross-functional departments, design statistical experiments, analyze data using sound statistical methodology, provide engineering support for high-volume manufacturing, develop training programs, analyze data trends, correlate metrics, identify data-driven solutions, implement production solutions, predict and optimize throughput, yield, and process control, utilize Industry 4.0 elements, and scale proof of concepts to production levels locally and cross-plant.
