As a CFD Engineer for an electric UAV logistics aircraft, your role will involve performing aerodynamics, propeller performance, flight stability analysis, and supporting experiments. Your key responsibilities will include: - Performing mid-fidelity and CFD analysis of aircraft and component aerodynamics, encompassing lifting and control surfaces. - Conducting mid-fidelity analysis of aircraft static and dynamic stability. - Executing transient CFD analysis of propeller performance and its aerodynamic interaction with aero-structural surfaces. - Engaging in capability development activities aimed at enhancing existing analysis methods. - Providing support for ground test experiments of aerodynamic components and flight tests of UAV aircraft prototypes. - Maintaining close interaction with cross-functional design, FEA, and avionics team members. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - MTech/MS in Aerospace Engineering from prestigious institutions like IIT, IISc, or similar. - 0-2 years of relevant work experience. Fresh MTech graduates from reputable institutes, with relevant thesis project work, will also be considered. - Proficiency in RANS/LES CFD meshing and analysis software such as Ansys Workbench, Ansys Fluent, and OpenFoam. - Familiarity with mid-fidelity aerodynamics analysis software utilizing vortex lattice method, panel method (XFLR, OpenVSP). - Desirable exposure to programming software like Matlab and Python.
