Description
As an HVAC Engineer at Sweco, you will play a crucial role in creating optimal HVAC designs for international projects, with a focus on Swedish projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating closely with skilled designers to develop HVAC designs, including basic design preparation, calculations, details, and specifications within heating, ventilation, air conditioning, duct sizing/routing, and chilled beam systems. - Selecting equipment and preparing layouts accordingly, ensuring compliance with applicable standards. - Thinking critically about solutions and designs, and ensuring quality on your projects. - Evaluating design drawings, data, proposals, specifications, and calculations for mechanical systems to meet target requirements. - Detailing the system by preparing a 3D model and coordinating among services for clash-free systems. - Researching, planning, designing, and developing sustainable mechanical systems. - Working in supervised and unsupervised environments to ensure technical accuracy within agreed timescales and budgets. - Collaborating closely with Swedish colleagues to overcome obstacles and create elegant designs. Qualifications and Experience required for this role include: - Graduation in HVAC Engineering with relevant experience. - Familiarity with codes, standards, and consultancy environments. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, MagiCAD, and Revit, with experience in 2D and 3D environments. - Strong interpersonal and team-working skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively. - Experience with software like Revit, MagiCAD, Solibri, Navisworks, Bluebeam, HAP, and Cadium. - Knowledge of Swedish HVAC system design standards and regulations, BIM360, and 3D coordination. Personal competencies needed for this role are: - Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn on the job. - Strong command of the English language. - Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. - Self-critical with excellent attention to detail. - Reliable and hardworking.,
