Engineer-HVAC (Building Engineering)

Role Overview: You will be joining the B+P team in India as an Engineer- HVAC (Building Engineering) at AECOM. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful marine infrastructure projects globally and enhance your technical expertise within a supportive and high-performing team. Key Responsibilities: - Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings - Prepare technical specification sections - Provide input for engineering budget and schedule development - Conduct energy modeling and analysis to optimize HVAC system performance - Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines for integrated design solutions - Develop and implement sustainable design strategies to achieve energy efficiency goals - Oversee selection and sizing of HVAC equipment and components Qualifications: - Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in GDC type of environment - Experience in retail and hospitality medium to large projects - Familiarity with ASHRAE/CIBSE/NFPA standards and regulations - Experience in commercial, residential, datacenter, and infrastructure projects from different geographies like USA, Canada, ANZ Region - Experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer specialized in HVAC Design - Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred - Proficiency in HVAC design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar BIM tools - Strong knowledge of energy modeling software (e.g., eQUEST, EnergyPlus, or IES-VE) (Note: The additional information section of the job description has been omitted as per the instructions provided),
