Job Description

Role Overview: As an Engineer - Structural/Architectural at Caterpillar Inc., you will be part of a global team dedicated to creating stronger, more sustainable communities. Your role involves utilizing your knowledge and skills in larger engineering disciplines to contribute to the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of paneling systems and their component systems. You will play a key role in supporting industrial gas turbine packaging, gas compression, power generation processes, and BOP systems engineering and design, ultimately contributing to building a better world for all. Key Responsibilities: - Possess a minimum of 5-8 years of industry experience in engineering and design execution, focusing on architectural paneling systems for industrial gas turbine packaging, gas compression, and power generation processes - Lead structural engineering efforts, ensuring alignment with industry standards such as ASME, AISC, ASTM, ANSI, IBC, and OSHA - Utilize CAD technology for architectural panelling systems, conduct structural analysis, and interpret engineering drawings - Create and review structural drawings, steel detail drawings, fabrication drawings, and foundation design iterations - Perform MTOs/BOMs, clash checks, connection calculations, and ensure compliance with structural engineering design codes and standards - Utilize tools such as STAAD Pro, Advance Steel, Revit, and Tekla for design and analysis purposes Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structures, or a related field Additional Company Details: Omit this section as no additional details of the company are present in the job description --- The job description has been accurately summarized with Role Overview, Key Responsibilities, and Qualifications sections provided in the proper format with paragraphs and bullet points as required.,
