Engineer-Business Intelligence

Summary: As a Business Intelligence Engineer at Innover, you will be a highly motivated individual with 5+ years of experience in enterprise and/or hosted applications development. Your expertise in cloud application development, design, and implementation will be crucial in this role. You should have broad experience in various types of databases, distributed, and web-based reporting & analytics applications. Technical Skills and Key Interests: Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent work experience. - At least 2 years of experience in developing reports, views, summarizations, and dashboards using Reporting tools such as SAP BO, Tableau, Cognos, PowerBI, or TIBCO Jaspersoft. - Experience in Jaspersoft or willingness to learn TIBCO Jaspersoft report development. - Experience in ETL development in technologies like Informatica, Hadoop, Spark. Additional Technical Skills (Value-add): - Experience in Java, spring framework, and object-oriented design methodologies would be beneficial. - Familiarity with using AI tools for problem-solving and development. - Hands-on experience in building cloud-native applications for cloud providers like AWS, Google Cloud. Responsibilities: In this role, you will primarily focus on Report development in TIBCO Jaspersoft and ETL (SQL, PySpark). You may need to learn TIBCO Jaspersoft if you have experience in other reporting tools. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing product enhancements, troubleshooting product defects, and unit and integration testing. You will also be involved in enhancing and building features for reporting-based applications. Some key tasks you will perform include: - Participating in project/work planning sessions to analyze requirements and contribute to their creation. - Developing and integrating applications per specification. - Approaching development work with a DevOps and continuous integration mindset. - Ensuring consistency with cloud architectural guiding principles. - Developing prototype implementations of projects with unknown technical solutions. - Providing technical expertise and peer code reviews to team members. Other specialized knowledge and skills required: - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Comfortable working in an offshore-onshore model. - Strong analytical design and troubleshooting skills. - Accountability for meeting commitments and deadlines. - Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. - Drive for continuous process improvement.,
