Job Description

As an Automation Ops Change Management Engineer at Micron Technology, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with Process Engineering & Manufacturing to define process and equipment requirements for tool automation. You will assess tool software capabilities, identify gaps or opportunities, and compile automation host requirements. Effective communication with IT developers to convey these requirements is a key aspect of your responsibilities. Your role will involve supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for host deployment and ensuring timely resolution of any issues identified during testing. By partnering with IT and other teams, you will work towards minimizing risks, maximizing area efficiency, and maintaining product quality through proper system change control and validation. Utilizing your expertise, you will provide support for manufacturing systems, processes, and capabilities while also leveraging your knowledge to offer timely solutions for business change requirements. Operating within established system capabilities, you will contribute to accurate reporting, data analysis, and metric tracking. Additionally, your responsibilities will encompass facilitating manufacturing systems release and deployment, managing application/system implementations effectively, and ensuring proper testing, communication, and deployment of processes and procedures. Collaborating with team members and contributing to a culture of quality awareness, risk management, and data-driven decision-making will be essential aspects of your role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a degree in Engineering from accredited universities and possess experience in Host Automation Business Analyst, Project Management, AT business domain knowledge, or Process Control Knowledge (AMAT E3). A proactive problem-solving approach, open communication, self-motivation, teamwork skills, and the ability to troubleshoot problems effectively are attributes that we value. Your familiarity with Semiconductors Backend Assembly/Test/SMT processes will be advantageous.
