Engineer - Automation (Hardware Team)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing reliable Electrical/Embedded hardware systems based on the requirements received from the application team. This will include the preparation of electrical panels, schematics, cable kits, BOM, and PCBs. Key Responsibilities: - Understand cost drivers associated with systems - Fulfill requirements with user-friendliness in mind - Identify opportunities for optimizing hardware design to improve performance, power efficiency, and manufacturability - Ensure hardware components meet long-term durability and performance standards - Ensure designs comply with appropriate regulatory norms such as IEC and IPC - Conduct research to address emerging technological needs or customer requirements - Update requirements received from the application team with actuals - Adhere to business excellence initiatives - Simulate and prototype electrical circuits, PCBs, and hardware systems based on requirements - Troubleshoot hardware issues, analyze test data, and optimize designs based on testing output Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field - Strong knowledge of electrical and embedded hardware design - Proficiency in designing electrical panels, schematics, BOM, and PCBs - Experience in simulating and prototyping electrical circuits and hardware systems - Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues and optimize designs - Familiarity with regulatory norms such as IEC and IPC would be advantageous.,
