Job Title : International Sales Manager – Export Marketing Department : Sales & Marketing – Exports Location : [City, Country] | Frequent International Travel Required Reports To : Director – International Business / VP – Sales Key Responsibilities : Sales & Business Development Identify and develop new international markets for ceramic products (tiles, sanitaryware, etc.). Meet or exceed export sales targets in assigned regions. Build and manage relationships with international distributors, agents, and key clients. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in alignment with company policies. Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer visits. Market Research & Strategy Conduct market analysis to understand competitor landscape, customer needs, pricing, and trends. Recommend product modifications or new product developments for specific markets. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve market penetration and growth. Customer Relationship Management Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely delivery. Resolve customer complaints and ensure after-sales support in collaboration with internal teams. Regularly communicate with clients to strengthen business relationships and secure repeat orders. Logistics & Documentation Coordinate with the logistics and export documentation teams to ensure smooth shipment processes. Monitor export operations, including LC handling, customs clearance, and freight forwarding. Team Collaboration & Reporting Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams for order planning and fulfillment. Provide monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to senior management. Train and guide junior sales/export executives as needed. Experience : Minimum 5–20 years of experience in international sales/export marketing, preferably in the ceramics or building materials industry. Skills : Strong understanding of international trade regulations, Incoterms, and export documentation. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Fluency in English (mandatory); knowledge of additional foreign languages is a plus. Ability to travel internationally as required.
