Job Description

We are seeking an Engagement Analyst to join our Data and Integration team within IT services. Our team collaborates across the organization to ensure access to the enterprise data platform and deliver innovative solutions to make the business more data-driven and efficient. As an Engagement Analyst, you will work closely with the Engagement Director in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. Your main responsibility will be to understand the business vision and translate it into clear requirements for the delivery teams. You will also manage stakeholder and customer relationships, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. You will interact with business users, subject matter experts, project managers, technical development teams, quality assurance teams, and end users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Stakeholder Engagements: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and adherence to best practices.
  • Document Business Processes: Understand and document business processes within a global enterprise application environment.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate and interact with colleagues coherently, aligning with the organisations values.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively across teams, ensuring clear and concise communication.
  • Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights that can inform business decisions and drive priorities.
  • Integration Support: Assist in the integration of various enterprise applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process optimisation and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in stakeholder management with a strong emphasis on exceeding customer expectations. Familiar with customer relationship management systems.
  • Capable of building and maintaining relationships across a diverse network of stakeholders.
  • Exhibits a highly motivated and proactive approach to completing tasks.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Familiar with gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders for data platform, business intelligence, integration, and automation requests.
  • Background in business analysis with a focus on delivering business intelligence solutions.
  • Experienced in working with database servers like Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Good understanding of business intelligence concepts, including data warehouses, data platforms, reports, and dashboards.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure data and AI artifacts, such as Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Server, Azure Analysis Services, Power BI, and Azure Data Lake, is a plus.
  • Holds a bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, finance, or equivalent education and experience. Equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree.
