Role Description This is a full-time on-site Renewable Energy Engineer job opportunity based in Hyderabad and the successful candidate will be responsible for working with clients to assess and identify energy and sustainability needs and recommending solutions to achieve optimal performance. Key Responsibilities: · Design and review layout of solar, wind, and other renewable/distributed energy assets and related site infrastructure in collaboration with other project staff. Review technical documentation (EPC Contract, equipment specifications, warranties, studies, etc.) during due diligence and construction stage with the proven ability to problem solve. · Work extensively with PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD and other modelling software packages to prepare design conceptual layouts and project summary reports of renewable systems. Review designs for quality, compliance, and performance optimization. · Provide review of technical inputs to financial models, including costing. Perform simulation analyses to optimize revenue and asset valuation for distributed energy systems. · Continuous improvement of forecasting models for several energy-related applications using traditional and advanced machine learning regression techniques. Experience of writing models in languages, such as Matlab, Python, R, Advanced Excel, etc. · Support control room desk by monitoring energy market conditions and respond to dynamic resource availability. Oversee the execution of asset operating strategies to optimize operational performance. · Support business development and client relationship management activities working in collaboration with leadership team. Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals. · Represent a team that strives for operational excellence and focused on customer success by delivering scalable, automatic, data-driven and sustainable solutions. Continuously develop team’s capabilities and knowledge besides processes and systems to achieve customer outcomes and results sustainably. · Able to explain work summary clearly and comfortably to highly technical and non-technical audiences in an international work environment. Coordinate real-time communications with internal operational teams and external stakeholders and serve as point of contact for escalated client inquiries and system/device failures. · Independently perform engineering evaluations and take part in multiple decarbonization projects at once for identifying optimization opportunities, develop savings calculations, issue write-ups and summary reports. Required Qualifications Education: First class in UG and PG with no more than 3 backlogs during the degree program. Soft Skills: Passion for energy systems and energy management. Strong problem-solving approach, highly organized, self-starter, exceptional attention to the details and being a team player are required for achieving customer success. Analytical Skills: Strong knowledge on PVSYST, Helioscope, Homer, DER-CAM/VET, EnergyPlus, etc modeling tools. Experience with SQL, R, Python. Working knowledge of data visualization softwares, a plus.
