We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Embedded Test Engineer with strong expertise in testing and validating firmware for industrial embedded devices for our client based out of Bangalore . Candidates with a background in Energy Metering and Industrial Automation are preferred. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the complete testing lifecycle for embedded systems from planning and test design to execution, reporting, and closure. Perform protocol testing with hands-on experience in BACnet and Modbus . Develop and execute automation test scripts using Python and Robot Framework . Use test tools and simulators for communication protocol validation. Work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables. Apply knowledge of RS232, RS485, Ethernet, and BLE for device communication and testing. Manage defects and test cycles using JIRA and follow Agile methodologies. Required Skills: 8 to 10 years of experience in embedded firmware testing Strong expertise in protocol testing (BACnet, Modbus) Solid experience with test automation using Python Exposure to industrial communication interfaces (Ethernet, RS485, RS232, BLE) Familiar with Robot Framework and simulation tools Excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills Nice to Have: Experience in the Energy Metering domain Exposure to CI/CD pipelines in testing environments Apply now if you are passionate about embedded systems and eager to work in a challenging and rewarding environment!
