You are an experienced HVAC Design Engineer with over 6 years of experience, specializing in Commercial and Residential Building Design. You have a strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD and have a proven track record of working with Building Services. Previous experience on International projects, with a preference for projects in the US, is a plus. You also have experience in team management and are based in Pune. Your responsibilities include designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving mechanical systems and equipment selections for commercial, industrial, and domestic projects. You will prepare detailed technical construction drawings, calculations, and specifications to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and customer requirements using various engineering and design software tools. Your role will involve performing detailed calculations, preparing technical specifications, and developing sequence of operations based on customer requirements and existing conditions. You must have knowledge of various codes and standards such as NYC Building Code, International Codes, Energy Code, NFPA Standards, ASHRAE Standards, among others. Reviewing design concepts, calculations, and drawings for accuracy, code compliance, and customer requirements is a key part of your responsibilities. You will also be responsible for reviewing engineering submittals, shop drawings, and construction administration procedures to ensure timely project delivery. Developing training modules, calculation procedures, and other tools for design and execution purposes, as well as mentoring young engineers, will be part of your role. Effective communication skills are essential for coordinating with clients, project managers, and vendors to meet project deadlines and requirements. In addition, you will be involved in developing cost estimations, bill of materials, and ensuring adherence to design concepts. Being self-motivated, driven, and proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel is important for this role.,
