As a Technical Support and End-User Administration professional, your primary responsibility will be to provide first-level Service Desk support to internal employees. This includes offering phone support for end-user problems and requests, diagnosing hardware, software, and business application issues, and utilizing appropriate problem recognition, research, isolation, and resolution steps. You will be expected to perform computer hardware and software-related repairs, as well as troubleshoot wireless devices. Keeping a detailed record of customer conversations and troubleshooting steps to efficiently resolve issues is vital. Additionally, you will provide support to facility, remote facility, and home-based users across global locations. Monitoring and responding to ticketing system assignments, assisting in training and educating customers on desktop applications and software/hardware platforms, and escalating end-user and IT infrastructure issues when necessary are also part of your role. Basic user support for network accounts, computer accounts, and business application accounts will be required. Your duties will also involve creating and maintaining standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles. You will participate in an on-call rotation of the Service Desk for after-hours and weekend support for urgent and escalated issues. If you possess 1-3 years of work experience in IT services and are proficient in technical support and end-user administration, this permanent position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, during US Shift timings might be the right fit for you.,
