Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Patient Preparation
: Conduct pre-procedure assessments, review medical histories, ensure informed consent, and educate patients and families about the procedure.
Procedure Assistance
: Administer medications, including sedatives and IV drips, and assist the physician by providing instruments and support during the procedure.
Monitoring and Care
: Continuously monitor the patient's vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation) and level of consciousness before, during, and after the procedure, reporting any changes or complications.
Documentation
: Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including procedure details, medications administered, and discharge documentation.
Post-Procedure Care
: Monitor patient recovery in the recovery area, provide post-procedure care instructions, and manage discharge planning.
Equipment Management
: Ensure the endoscopy suite and equipment are clean, sterile, and functional, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
