As an Application Engineering Portfolio Technical Lead at EY, you will have the opportunity to lead the application engineering of two portfolios within Enterprise Technology. You will be responsible for designing, building, implementing, and managing in-house developed as well as SaaS solutions, focusing on business demands. Your role will involve leading a team of engineers, owning the technical delivery of solutions, and working closely with project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality project execution. You will also be responsible for translating design and solution architecture deliverables into detailed design and build deliverables, as well as overseeing engineering activities across multiple projects. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain robust, high-performance enterprise software or SaaS solutions - Maintain adherence to architectural standards, global guidelines, and usability design standards - Coordinate with developers, business teams, and project managers to ensure project success - Monitor and manage adherence to application engineering methodologies and standards - Ensure effective communication within the team and with other IT groups - Collaborate with vendor applications/teams to integrate them into EY's systems - Research and evaluate alternative technical solutions for efficiency and cost-effectiveness - Create and maintain application engineering resource plans and provide input for technical resourcing strategies - Provide feedback on application engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices - Monitor and report on potential risks and opportunities of emerging technologies Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage technical challenges effectively - Proactively identify and address application engineering strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats - Make key decisions based on input from team leads and global leads - Apply judgment to implement application engineering methodologies and practices tailored to project requirements Skills And Attributes For Success: To qualify for this role, you must have: - Strong analytical and communication skills - Interpersonal and team skills to collaborate effectively - Self-motivation and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline - At least 15+ years of experience in architecture, design, and integration of software solutions - Technical skills in .NET languages, web development, web services, databases, design patterns, and SQL - Experience with Azure Cloud Services, DevOps, and reporting tools like SSRS or Power BI What We Look For: - Dedication to collaborating with colleagues in a high-performing team - Enthusiasm, motivation, and passion for fast development in a multinational environment - Natural curiosity and confidence to speak up for improvement - Combination of technical knowledge and communication skills Join EY to build a better working world, where continuous learning, transformative leadership, and a diverse and inclusive culture thrive.,
