Job Summary: We are seeking a technically strong and motivated Chemical Engineer with hands-on experience in energy-saving projects across industrial or process-based environments. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of energy optimization in chemical processes, thermal systems, and utilities. A certification in BBE or equivalent in energy efficiency is considered a strong asset. Key Responsibilities: Identify, design, and implement energy conservation measures (ECMs) in chemical or process plants. Conduct energy audits of process systems, utilities, and equipment to identify inefficiencies. Analyze data from operations to propose energy optimization strategies and monitor outcomes. Work on process integration, heat recovery, and fuel/utility consumption reduction. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement energy efficiency improvements . Ensure compliance with energy efficiency regulations , policies, and best practices (e.g., PAT, ECBC, ISO 50001). Prepare detailed reports, feasibility studies, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications: B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a recognized institution. 2+ years of experience in energy-saving / energy efficiency projects in process industries Good knowledge of thermal systems , process optimization , heat exchangers, boilers, compressors, etc. Familiarity with energy management tools, benchmarking methods, and industry-specific standards. Strong analytical skills and ability to translate energy data into actionable insights. Good communication and documentation skills. Desirable: Certification in BBE (Building/Industrial Energy Efficiency) or similar (e.g., CEA, CMVP, ISO 50001 Lead Auditor). Experience with sustainability reporting , green certifications, or decarbonization strategies .
