You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all piping activities within the India office, including leading the local engineering team to ensure that projects meet international standards, local regulations, deadlines, budgets, and quality and safety requirements. Your educational background should include a BE/B.Tech degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, with a minimum of 20 years of experience in EPC and Detail Design Companies focused on Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Power, or Hydrogen Projects. Additionally, you should have at least 10 years of experience as an HOD or Lead Piping Engineer with leading and reputed engineering EPC and Detail Design companies. Your experience should cover areas such as proposals, FEED, detail engineering, site support construction, and as-built phases of projects, including both Brownfield and Greenfield project execution. You should have a good past experience in working with software such as SP3D, E3D/PDMS, Plant 3D, and AutoCAD, and be fluent in English. A problem-solving attitude and a results-oriented approach are essential for this role. Your key responsibilities will include team management to lead, motivate, and develop the local piping engineering and technical team, as well as project supervision to oversee piping design, engineering, and procurement while ensuring compliance with standards such as ASME and IS codes. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to local and international codes and keeping the team updated on regulatory changes. Collaboration with global teams and clients to facilitate effective communication is a crucial aspect of the role. Implementation and monitoring of company quality and safety procedures, along with monitoring project budgets and timelines to address deviations promptly, are also part of your responsibilities. Promoting new technologies and methodologies to optimize piping activities is another key aspect of your role. Your skills and competencies should include specifying piping materials and components based on project requirements and industry standards, as well as managing day-to-day operations and short- and long-term objectives of the IIEPL Piping department. Overall responsibility for IIEPL Piping cost, schedule, and budget control, as well as further developing and strengthening the Piping department to meet IIEPL business objectives, are also part of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for workload planning and resource allocation to Incico jobs in Italy, the Middle East, and local Indian jobs. A proactive attitude with knowledge of international codes and standards, extensive knowledge and application of ASME B31.1/B31.3 and EN codes, and management of piping engineering works subcontracted to third-party engineering agencies as required are essential for this role. You will be responsible for integrating Incico work processes and department procedures in IIEPL Piping successfully, reviewing and approving key piping deliverables, and ensuring quality control and technical accuracy of all deliverables from the IIEPL Piping team. You will also be involved in tasks such as following up and verifying engineering documentation and drawings, studying and analyzing client plot plans, design basis, and technical specifications, as well as participating in client, engineering subcontractor, vendor, and internal and external stakeholder meetings. Additionally, conducting performance reviews, supporting staff development and training needs, and running a Skill Development Program in the IIEPL Piping Discipline to develop junior piping engineers and designers are part of your responsibilities. Sharing lessons learned and best practices from current and past projects and identifying, developing, and managing a team of in-house engineers are also important aspects of your role.,

Review & approve key piping deliverables: - equipment layout, piping layout, GAD’s, Isometrics, stress reports, support drawings, MTO/BOM, etc. Through knowledge of 3D modelling processes, tools, and procedures. Should be able to guide the modelers for preparation of 3D models of Incico jobs. Responsible for quality control and technical accuracy of all deliverables from the IIEPL Piping team. Follow-up and verification of engineering, documentation and/or drawings. Study & analysis of client plot plan, design basis, SOW, Piping classes, wall thickness Calculations & technical specifications. Overview & response to Client/Vendor Technical Queries/Site Requests etc. Review of client stress and support design basis, 3D- design basis etc. High degree of familiarity with Navisworks for review of 3d models. Review of 3D model to ensure compliance of Clients / Project specifications, Maintenance and accessibility, constructability, critical piping flexibility , etc. Piping Manhour Estimation experience for Offers & Proposals & also on the Project. Experienced in preparing Piping Deliverable List & Schedule for the Project. Participate in client, Engineering sub-contractor, vendors, and other internal and external stake holders meeting. Participate in Incico internal project review status meetings & responsible for correct reporting of progress, delays, change notices, performance measurement, lessons learned and close-out. Conduct performance reviews and support staff development and training needs . Required to run a Skill Development Program in the IIEPL Piping Discipline: - To develop junior piping engineers/designers by providing them proper trainings. The trainings are to be aimed at developing Strong Fundamental Piping Layout Concepts. Shall share Lessons learned & Best practices from current & past projects so that the whole team learns from past mistakes and does not repeat them. Identify, develop & manage a team of Inhouse engineers comprising of Materials, Layout & Stress ( subject matter experts ).
