As an Emulation Lead based in Bangalore or Hyderabad with at least 7 years of experience, your responsibilities will include leading end-to-end VLSI components and hardware systems. This involves designing, analyzing, developing, modifying, and evaluating VLSI components and hardware systems, determining architecture and logic design verification through software simulation, conducting system evaluations, and providing technical guidance on escalations and regression testing data. Additionally, you will be tasked with providing customer support, ensuring governance of VLSI components and hardware systems, identifying system improvements, and inspecting compliance with regulations and safety standards. Your role will also involve team management, which includes resourcing by forecasting talent requirements, hiring the right resources, and training direct reportees for recruitment and selection decisions. Talent management aspects will require ensuring compliance with onboarding and training standards, building an internal talent pool, promoting diversity in leadership positions, setting goals for direct reportees, conducting performance reviews, and managing performance issues with zero tolerance for will-based performance problems. Moreover, employee satisfaction and engagement initiatives will be led by driving engagement, tracking satisfaction scores, identifying engagement-building initiatives, and challenging the team with enriching projects. In terms of deliverables, key performance parameters will be measured based on the timeliness, quality, and coverage of verification, compliance to UVM standards, customer responsiveness, project documentation, and MIS generation. Additionally, team training on new skills, team attrition rates, and employee satisfaction scores will be vital metrics to track. The mandatory skill required for this role is ASIC Design, and the ideal candidate should possess 5-8 years of experience in the field.
