We are seeking experienced BAU Consultants to support a multi-year project focused on the assurance of regulatory reporting within the context of EMIR and MIFID (Transaction Reporting and Post-Trade Transparency). This role is integral to ensuring the bank's regulatory reporting processes remain accurate, compliant, and well-controlled on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong control mindset, be highly detail-oriented, and demonstrate the ability to follow bank procedures while carrying out day-to-day control activities. Responsibilities Daily Execution of Controls: Perform day-to-day control checks to ensure accurate and complete regulatory reporting in line with EMIR and MIFID (TR & PTT) requirements. Procedure Adherence: Follow bank-approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) and control frameworks to maintain consistency and compliance. Data Validation & Reconciliation: Perform reconciliation of trade data against trade repositories and regulatory submissions to detect and address any anomalies. Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with Compliance, IT, Operations, and Risk teams to maintain robust reporting controls. Regulatory Change Support: Assist in implementing process adjustments required due to regulatory updates and enhancements in the reporting framework. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of control activities, issue logs, and remediation efforts. Testing & Assurance: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and control enhancements to ensure reporting accuracy. Skills Strong knowledge of EMIR and MIFID regulations, specifically Transaction Reporting (TR) and Post-Trade Transparency (PTT). At least 2-3 years of experience in a BAU regulatory reporting role within a financial institution. A strong control mindset with experience in performing control-related activities within a regulatory reporting environment. Understanding of trade lifecycle events and their impact on regulatory reporting. Experience working with regulatory reporting platforms (e.g., Unavista, DTCC, or other trade repositories). Proficiency in data reconciliation, exception management, and control oversight. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate reporting discrepancies. Strong understanding of the full regulatory reporting lifecycle, including data sourcing, validation, and submission to Trade Repositories and Regulators. Experience with regulatory reporting platforms (e.g., approved Trade Repositories, reporting tools, etc.) and an understanding of system integration for reporting purposes. Experience working with regulatory authorities and managing compliance obligations in relation to EMIR and MIFID. A proactive, self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive projects forward. Experience in project management, with the ability to handle multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously. Knowledge of regulatory change management and the ability to adapt to ongoing changes in the regulatory landscape. Primary Skills The QC reviewerwill review the sanctions screening alerts dispositioned by analysts for full adherence with the banks global AML Policy Standards & Operating Procedures related to identifying money laundering, terrorist financing, and red flags Ensures reviews are completed timely and within quality expectations, including review conclusions that are clear, complete, and supported by the information on the case Identify and escalate critical issues to Quality Control Team Head Assist in identifying problem areas and risks associated with the QC processes and make recommendations to improve quality of analysts alert / case work Ensure accurate, complete, and up-to-date internal documentation to provide evidence of decisions and reasoning based on the facts and the potential ML/FT risk identified Analyze and review quality trends and error themes, reporting feedback to internal & client leadership for timely training interventions Produce accurate and quality work (95%+) under tight deadlinesand minimal supervision Perform as an SME and help provide training, coaching, insights, and recommendations to other team members / investigators, when not required to quality check alerts University graduate & CAMS /any industry recognized AML certification will be a plus Fluent in English (spoken and written) Minimum 5-8 years related banking, compliance, audit experience with a minimum of 3-5 years specific experience related to being a quality checker in transaction monitoring and alert dispositions according to specific banking policies and relevant AML legislations across NA, US,EU & APAC jurisdictions Secondary Skills Comprehensive knowledge & understanding of regulatory regimes such as AMLD, MiFID, FATCA & EMIR Maintain a working knowledge of anti-money laundering related requirements including BSA, USA Patriot Act, OFAC, SEC, FINRA, and other applicable US, UK EMEA regulations Actively engage in the identification of potential process shortcomings or required enhancements

Role & responsibilities Provide oversight of accuracy and completeness of trade reporting where delegated to trading counterparties and work closely with them to resolve discrepancies Perform verification, validations and testing of trade data prior to submission to regulators Effectively contribute towards the exercise of the Asset Management business post trade and transaction reporting obligations Responsible for identifying trade reporting exceptions and issues and recommending remediation solutions Actively work with trading desks to understand changes in business practice and make recommendations on how the team and supporting infrastructure should evolve to consistently meet reporting obligations Preferred candidate profile Strong analytical skills with an ability to understand complex workflows paired with meticulous attention to detail Self-motivated and proactive team player who has strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities within deadlines Flexible and able to work well under pressure in a team environment.
