The Interior Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales through exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and design expertise. This role involves working closely with clients, designers, and contractors to provide solutions for interior design projects, including furnishings, finishes, and decor. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, confident in making product recommendations, and thrives in a fast-paced retail or showroom environment. Key Responsibilities :Greet and assist walk-in clients and respond to sales inquiries via phone, email, or online. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or design solutions. Provide in-depth product knowledge across furniture, lighting, textiles, flooring, and other interior materials. Create mood boards, layouts, or basic space planning to support design recommendations (if applicable). Process quotes, invoices, and sales transactions accurately using POS or CRM systems. Maintain showroom appearance and ensure displays are current and appealing. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, designers, architects, and contractors. Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets. Stay up to date with design trends, product lines, and vendor updates. Coordinate with logistics or warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries and installations. Qualifications:Proven sales experience, ideally in interior design, furniture, or home décor. Strong knowledge of interior design styles, materials, and finishes. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Proficiency in POS systems and CRM tools; knowledge of design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) is a plus. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up abilities. Ability to work weekends or extended hours as required by the showroom or project deadlines. Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
