As a highly skilled and experienced Hardware Design Engineer, you will be an integral part of our Embedded Team, contributing to the design and development of our next-generation hardware system. You should have a strong background in simulation tools, power electronics system design, motor driver development, MCU architecture, and hardware architecture planning. Your responsibilities will include showcasing a deep understanding of power electronics and analog electronics components, such as optocouplers, power MOSFETs, thyristors, power diodes, and various types of converters like DC/DC and AC/DC. You will be expected to design and optimize circuits for power management and control, as well as proficiently analyze and troubleshoot analog and digital signals to ensure the integrity of hardware designs. Additionally, you will be required to demonstrate expertise in the electrical parameters associated with various types of motors, design motor control systems, select appropriate drive components, and optimize motor performance for specific applications. You will also lead the development of Field-Oriented Control (FOC) motor drivers for precise and efficient motor control applications. Having a strong understanding of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) principles is essential, as you will need to design hardware with EMI/EMC considerations to meet regulatory compliance standards. Qualifications: - Experience in hardware design with a focus on power electronics and hardware architecture - Proficiency in simulation tools such as LTSPICE and PSPICE - Comprehensive knowledge of electrical parameters related to motor operation - Understanding of safety considerations in motor control systems, especially in industrial and automotive applications - Proficiency in designing and analyzing power stages, including switching converters, voltage regulators, and motor control circuits - Experience with power loss analysis and thermal management for power electronic components - Ability to develop and test analog circuits for signal conditioning, amplification, and filtering - Familiarity with optocoupler applications in isolation and feedback circuits - Expertise in selecting and driving power MOSFETs, thyristors, and power diodes for specific applications Good To Have: - In-depth knowledge of EMI/EMC mitigation techniques - Proficiency in using PCB design software like Altium and Eagle - Experience with high-speed digital design and signal integrity analysis - Experience in signal integrity analysis and simulations to optimize high-speed and mixed-signal PCB designs - Experience in implementing DFM principles in PCB layouts - Experience in incorporating DFT features into PCB layouts to facilitate testing and troubleshooting during production and maintenance,
