EMI EMC Electrical Engineer

As an EMI/EMC Engineer at CEM Engineers, specializing in designing, testing, and implementing solutions to enhance product compliance with global standards, you play a crucial role in ensuring that electronic devices function seamlessly without interference. We focus on Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) engineering to ensure that electronic devices operate seamlessly in their intended environment without interference. Responsibilities: - Be responsible for the technical content of all EMC deliverables and advice prepared by the department - Simulate low-frequency EMC fields in FLUX software and model higher frequencies with complementary software - Plan and execute field testing of EMC environment - Analyze simulation and field testing results, providing recommendations for issue mitigation - Assess EMC compatibility of various equipment and environments - Write EMC reports - Assist EMC Manager with EMC Management tasks Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of EMC Measurement experience (laboratory or field), including equipment setup - 5+ years of EMC Simulation experience, including material properties and EMC sources - Experience in selecting appropriate mitigations for EMC problems - Electrical or physics background with knowledge of materials and electromagnetic fields Desirable Experience and Knowledge: - Familiarity with EMC Codes and Standards compliance, including EN series and Canadian codes - Experience in low-frequency EMC testing and knowledge of low-frequency EMC physics - EMC management and planning skills - High attention to detail and strong teamwork skills - Desire to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment Key Expertise: - EMC Testing & Troubleshooting - Shielding & Filtering solutions - Compliance with Regulatory Standards - PCB Design optimization for EMI reduction - Pre-Compliance & certification support If you are seeking a stable and growth-oriented opportunity in the Construction/Infrastructure industry with 6-10 years of experience, consider applying for the EMI/EMC Engineer position at CEM Engineers in Hyderabad or New Delhi.
