We are seeking a proactive Manager - Fire & Safety to oversee all fire safety operations, emergency response, and evacuation drills. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations, maintaining firefighting readiness, and coordinating with government authorities. The ideal candidate will be a leader with a strong technical background and a commitment to ensuring the safety of all occupants and the property. Roles and Responsibilities Emergency Response & Operations: Perform equipment set-up upon arrival at a fire scene and dispatch/accompany the ERT (Emergency Response Team) . Complete appropriate rescue, firefighting, and salvage operations at a fire scene. Use established procedures to determine if individuals are trapped and take action to secure their rescue, including performing periodic lift evacuation and rescue drills . Secure affected structures to prevent re-kindling. Planning & Compliance: Prepare plans and execute fire and life safety evacuation drills and other fire safety-related training for team members and occupants. Attend and provide information for pre-fire planning studies and maintain updated knowledge of pre-fire plans. Liaise with government authorities for the periodic renewal of NOCs. Maintenance & Reporting: Take inventory of all equipment after suppression, recording any equipment left at the site and completing an incident report. Report and maintain a record of all incidents on the site. Keep all checklists and records updated for fire equipment maintenance and training records. Inspect and monitor the functions of building facilities including lifts, DG sets, air conditioning, fire services, water supply, and electricity supply . Ensure the upkeep of the entire property, including the maintenance of high-rise buildings. Report and follow up on any requests & complaints from customers. Maintain handover/takeover log books per shift and check and maintain log books and checklists for all facilities. Prepare and send Daily/weekly/Monthly reports to the Operations Manager. Skills Strong knowledge of fire safety operations, emergency response, and evacuation procedures. Excellent ability to conduct training sessions and drills. Proven skills in incident investigation and reporting. Strong communication and liaison skills for coordinating with government authorities. Meticulous attention to detail for maintaining equipment and records.
