The job involves cleaning and disinfecting buildings and facilities, including floors, walls, windows, and other surfaces. You will be responsible for performing basic maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs and fixing door hinges. Operating equipment such as carpet extractors, buffers, and automatic floor scrubbers will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you will be in charge of ordering and replenishing supplies like soap, paper towels, and hand sanitizer. Ensuring security by locking and securing buildings, as well as conducting security checks like room checks and fire alarm checks, will be essential. You will also need to handle waste disposal by collecting and disposing of garbage, biomedical waste, and recyclable materials. Maintaining the grounds and premises, which includes tasks like mowing grass, trimming hedges, and watering plants, will be part of your responsibilities. In case of emergencies, you will be required to perform emergency clean-up services. Providing orientation and on-the-job training to new employees is also part of this role. Keeping records updated of all work orders completed is another essential aspect of the job. This is a full-time position with the possibility of working different shifts including day shift, evening shift, morning shift, night shift, and rotational shift. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in housekeeping and a total of 1 year of work experience. Shift availability includes day shift, night shift, and overnight shift.
