As a Regional Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to plan and finalize Annual Revenue Budgets in consultation with Sales Managers. You will be expected to achieve product-wise and category-wise sales targets, develop sales strategies to drive revenue growth, and analyze market trends and brand positioning. Your role will also involve ensuring collections as per monthly commitments. In terms of channel management, you will be required to build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and channel partners. It will be essential to implement network expansion, correction, and channel management strategies for each product category. Additionally, tracking sales revenue generation, performance metrics, and implementing strategies for market expansion will be crucial. You will need to conduct promotion activities to boost brand awareness and sales. Regarding processes, your focus will be on sales and collection, channel management, channel development, market/reach expansion, sales administration, and competition analysis. You will need to organize periodic product/solutions/software training for the team, review their performance, and provide necessary feedback for improvement. Ensuring maximization of productivity, mentorship, succession planning, and fostering higher interpersonal relations among team members will be part of your responsibilities. Employee engagement through identifying latent needs and providing motivation will also be key. You will also be responsible for working capital management, including effective debtors management by fixing credit limits and monitoring total and overdue debtors. Additionally, monitoring the collection of expired BGs/EMDs will be essential. In terms of inter-department relations, you will need to ensure cross-functional efficiency between Sales, Service, Finance, Logistics, HR, and Product Management for smooth functioning. The ideal candidate for this role should have a Graduation Regular or B.Tech with an MBA (preferable) degree. Expertise in similar products, solutions, and their markets, strong business acumen, and preferably experience in handling the P&L of a business/vertical will be advantageous.
