As an FX Artist at Black Diamond Media & Production Pvt Ltd in Rohini, Delhi, you will play a crucial role in creating captivating visual effects for high-quality animated content. Your primary responsibilities will involve crafting realistic and stylized effects such as smoke, fire, magic, destruction, liquids, and more to enhance the overall visual appeal of our projects. Your key responsibilities will include creating top-notch visual effects using industry-standard tools, collaborating effectively with animators, lighting, and compositing teams, simulating particles, dynamics, and fluid effects for animation scenes, ensuring that the visual effects align with the project's style and vision, optimizing FX for performance and rendering pipeline, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to FX production. To excel in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience as an FX Artist in the animation/VFX/gaming industry. Proficiency in software such as Houdini, Maya, Blender, After Effects, or EmberGen is essential. A strong understanding of physics-based simulations, knowledge of render engines like Arnold, Redshift, or Octane, creativity, attention to detail, excellent teamwork, and communication skills are also required. It would be advantageous if you have experience with the Unreal Engine/Niagara FX system, knowledge of Python or MEL scripting for tool development, and familiarity with cartoon-style FX or stylized animation.
