We are looking for excited and motivated individuals who possess a thorough understanding of IoT concepts and stay updated with the rapidly evolving technology landscape. As a candidate, you should have strong programming skills, particularly in IoT, and be adept at working across various software development platforms. The position is based in Navi Mumbai, India, and offers full-time employment. Responsibilities: - Building prototypes, products, and systems suitable for testing, and conducting lab simulations. - Developing and maintaining high-quality software. - Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in IoT technologies. - Sharing expertise within the organization and potentially providing user training for products. - Assessing engineering approaches and risks to create development plans that ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective products and systems. - Potentially authoring technical reports, papers, articles, patents, and presentations. Desired Skills and Experience: - Proficient programming skills. - Minimum of 3 years of experience. - Preference for experience with Python, Ruby, and Node.js; however, we welcome applications from code-agnostic programmers who excel at problem-solving using any language and framework. - Sound understanding of embedded systems and networking. - Experience in architecting infrastructure solutions using Linux/Unix and Windows, with specific recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR, network, and storage architectures. - Proficiency in designing systems to interact with remote data via third-party APIs and JSON. - Ability to read hardware schematics. - Capability to develop code that optimizes for low power consumption. - Proficiency in probing and measuring hardware to debug issues. - Ability to manage and lead a team of Junior Developers. - Knowledge of utilizing big data analytics frameworks such as Hadoop or SPARK to develop business intelligence applications.
