Embedded/Firmware Tester -Python

Description

Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer
Science.

Location Bangalore

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Develop test automation using Python/BDD/Gherkin/Cucumber Framework.
2. Drive the testing activities and test automation on every software releases.
3. Perform automated tests, analyze test results, report defects into the bug tracking
   system.
4. Design, implement, execute, and improve product and system level test coverages using
   BDD framework.
5. Experience in Embedded Software Testing and automation using Python Framework.
6. Experience in verification and Validation of Embedded software products and systems.
7. Good expertise in Python programming and Scripting.
8. Good expertise in BDD/Gherkin Scripting/ Cucumber Testing framework.
9. Good debugging/troubleshooting experience and writing BDD and Gherkin scenarios and
   Test cases.
10. Experience in design and development of test automation suite using BDD Framework.
11. Desirable to have knowledge and expertise on products like communication gateways,
    Power Electronics based products.
12. Good working Knowledge on Serial Protocols, Modbus (RS485), Modbus TCP, CAN, UART,
    USB.
13. Power Electronics or Electrical domains would be an added advantage.
14. Good knowledge on cloud Jenkins and other continuous integration tools would be
    added advantage.

Mandatory Skills:
Experience in Embedded Software Testing and automation using Python Framework. Python programming and Scripting. BDD/Gherkin Scripting/ Cucumber Testing framework. test automation suite using BDD Framework. Serial Protocols, Modbus (RS485), Modbus TCP, CAN, UART, USB RTOS and peripherals. Proficiency in programming languages such as Embedded C, Matlab Script, Python, JavaScript, XML, HTML, and Json.
